Sources and follow-up

This is an independent retrospective archive, not an official City of Paris participation process. It contains no imported participant responses or new vote.

The 2025 convention brought together 50 Paris residents over three working weekends. Its published opinion proposes legal personality for the Seine, guardians of the river, scientific oversight, a basin parliament and stronger protection from pollution. Some members recorded reservations. The opinion is a proposal, not enacted law.
